Enjoy the wonders and charms of the Mekong on this 3 day eco package tour. Visit the famous Cai Be Floating Markets and stroll through small villages to discover the life of the people on the river. Join a cooking class and learn how to make local delicacies and visit an ex Viet Cong Base. Experience Sam Mountain in Chau Doc and visit a floating fish farm. Visit a traditional Cham River Village and see their weaving skills. Relax in our incredible Eco Lodge and take in the surroundings and sounds of the local wildlife.

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Lay – Cai Be Floating Market – Eco Lodge
In the morning You will be picked up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. After that, we depart for Cai Lay and stop to take photos at Tan An amid flat rice fields. Upon arrival in Cai Lay, we will take a motor boat to visit the famous Cai Be floating market and watch the vendors trading fruit and many other commodities on their vessels. Next, we walk through small villages to visit orchards, fruit plantations, handicraft villages or just relax at our lovely eco-resort. In the afternoon We will relax and enjoy a delicious lunch with typical delicacies of Mekong Delta, which includes fresh river food served in the heart of the gardens of the scenic Mekong Lodge Riverside Restaurant. In the evening We will join a cooking class and enjoy our dinner, and spend a night at the Eco Lodge Resort (bungalow). Day 2: Cai Be - Cao Lanh - Chau Doc
In the morning After breakfast, we will be transferred back to Cai Be by boat and depart for Cao Lanh to visit Xeo Quit Base – a former Viet Cong base. Here, we will have a chance to enjoy a boat cruise for an exploration of the Xeo Quit Forest which was once a stronghold of the communist troop during the American wartime. This boundless cajeput forests are dissevered by numerous narrow canals surrounded by aquatic grass and plants, tall trees and vines. The cool and humid air mixing with the fragrance of flowers as well as the beautiful song of bird in the quiet environment make for an unforgettable excursion. In the afternoon After lunch, we will leave for Chau Doc. Upon arrival in Chau Doc, we will pay a visit to Sam Mountain and the carved pagoda. Sam Mountain is the highest mountain in the Mekong Delta. On the way there, we can enjoy the sights of the two rice fields along the road. There are dozens of pagodas and temples, many of them set in caves, around Sam Mountain. After the visits, we enjoy the sunset over the Vietnamese-Cambodian Frontier. In the evening Dinner is on your account and you will spend your night at your chosen hotel in Chau Doc. Day 3: Chau Doc - Tra Su - Ho Chi Minh City In the morning After breakfast at the hotel, we will take a morning boat trip to visit a floating fish farm and a Cham weaving village. Then we will visit Tra Su Cajuput Forest, which is renowned for not only its almost-untouched natural beauty but also its sanctuary of flora and fauna. Here, we will take a boat trip into the forest, we will have a feeling that we are harmonizing with nature because of all of the impressive pictures of cajuputs, the fragrance of the flowers and the music-like noise of birds, insects and animals making people relaxed and comfortable. From the observation post, we can overlook the forest with an area of nearly 900 ha, home of many birds and animals, including some rare ones. In the afternoon We will enjoy your lunch in the forest and relax on a hammock or experience the Monkey Bridge. After that, we will be transferred back to Ho Chi Minh City. The tour ends and we hope to see you again!
